BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED 18TH CENTURY FARMHOUSE

Lovely 2 bedroomed, French farmhouse located in the quaint village of Chives in the department of the Charente Maritime, South West France; the perfect place to relax and unwind. The village nestles between miles of sunflower fields and the huge forest of Aulnay.

The house has been tastefully renovated keeping many of the original features. There are two bedrooms one with double bed and a smaller one with two single beds. There is a house bathroom containing bath, toilet, bidet, sink and separate shower cubicle. Downstairs there are a further two toilets one outside which is useful for the users of the swimming pool.

To the rear there is a covered patio area which is ideal for those balmy sunny evenings sipping a glass of the local Pineau wine.

bbA further patio come barbecue area is adjacent to the swimming pool where you can sit and watch the activities in and around the 10x5 metre pool or perhaps lay on the sun lounges provided. The mature gardens include a walnut, fig, apple, damson, and peach tree which may be eaten fresh with our compliments when in season. There are many plants and shrubs to admire. At the front of the house there are grape vines.
